About Me

I’m a designer and photographer, and for me, photography is more than just a craft—it’s a way of seeing and appreciating the world. There’s something truly special about capturing a fleeting moment and preserving it forever, allowing others to experience the same sense of wonder and emotion that I felt in that instant. Whether it’s a breathtaking landscape, a quiet everyday scene, or a spontaneous interaction, I find beauty in the details that often go unnoticed.
I live in the heart of the British countryside with my young family, and my surroundings constantly inspire me. As a professional designer, I’ve spent years refining my eye for detail and aesthetics, but my journey into photography began quite unexpectedly through my design work.
How I Discovered Photography
As a designer, I often needed to capture images of my projects to showcase my work. Initially, I relied on my phone, but I soon realised that it just couldn’t do justice to the intricate details, textures, and the full essence of a space. The limitations of mobile photography frustrated me—it simply couldn’t capture the whole picture in the way I envisioned it. This led me to explore the world of professional cameras, and the moment I picked one up, something clicked—literally and figuratively.
What started as a necessity for my design career quickly became a passion of its own. I found myself seeing everything through an imaginary lens, composing shots in my mind long before I even lifted the camera. Photography became an extension of how I viewed the world—it trained my eye to notice the interplay of light and shadow, the harmony of colours, and the beauty in the ordinary. Over time, I realised that my love for capturing moments wasn’t just about documenting my work; it was about storytelling, emotion, and perspective.
My Inspiration & Creative Process
Inspiration is everywhere—from the rolling hills and charming villages of the UK to the candid, heartwarming moments shared with my family. These moments, both grand and simple, are what I strive to capture through my lens. Whether it’s the golden glow of a sunset casting long shadows over a quiet landscape, the intricate patterns in nature, or the laughter of my children as they explore the world, each photograph is a reflection of how I see and experience life.
My family plays a huge role in this journey. They are my muses, my biggest supporters, and often, my patient models! Their presence in my creative process keeps me grounded, reminding me why I do what I do—to preserve the moments that truly matter.
Why I Created My Website
As my passion for photography grew, so did my desire to share my work with others. I wanted a space where people could explore my images, connect with my vision, and even bring a piece of my photography into their own homes. That’s why I created my website—a dedicated place where I can showcase my work in the way it was meant to be seen.
Here, you’ll find a curated collection of my favourite photographs, each capturing a unique story, emotion, or perspective. Whether you’re looking for a print to add a touch of beauty to your space or simply want to browse and find inspiration, my website is a reflection of the world as I see it—through my lens.
